Why is the PHP version queried by cmd different from the version queried by the terminal in vscode?

Hello teacher, I used composer to install version 5.6 of php before, but now I need version 7.2.5 or above to use vscode, so I re-installed version 7.4 of php using composer. After installation, I used cmd I checked the version of php, it is 7.4, but no matter how I check it in vscode, it is always 5.6. Is there any way to solve it?
