I have a WordPress website, and the URL of the website is "http://example.com/example/". I used WordPress themes and pages to set up the website. But now I want to change this URL to only show the home page as "http://example.com" and other pages as "http://example.com/".

On the Settings-> General screen in a single-site installation of WordPress, There are two fields named "WordPress Address (URL)" and "Site Address (URL)". The “Site Address (URL)” setting is the address you want people to type into their browser to visit your WordPress blog.
