Strapi cannot install MySQL on Windows localhost

I'm trying to install Strapi on my Windows 10 machine. I installed Apache and MySQL using XAMPP and verified through phpMyAdmin that the local connection is fine and I can access the MySQL database.

During the Strapi installation, I received the error message"Installing Dependencies: Information There appears to be a network connectivity issue. Retrying...". I don't understand why this error message occurs and I don't know where to look (other than verifying that phpMyAdmin can indeed connect to the local MySQL database). I've uninstalled and reinstalled XAMPP, restarted my computer, but the problem is still not resolved.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I finally figured it out. My Norton firewall keeps interfering. After I disabled it, Strapi was successfully installed.
