Linux Please note that this is a basic step. I don't support building complete steps for all environments. If you see some errors, you should fix it yourself or seek support in some user forums. Do not file issues on the issue tracker.

You may need to install the Python 3 and MySQL development headers and libraries as follows:

sudo apt-get install python3-dev default-libmysqlclient-dev build-essential

Debian / Ubuntu

pip install mysqlclient

You need to follow the installation instructions for this package.

Sounds like you're on OSX - you need to install mysql there.
