Why do I sometimes see white lines like this in my code?

Does anyone know why these lines sometimes show up and then stay in my codebase? I can only remove them by restarting VScode.

Operating system: macos v12.1, but available since v11 VScode: Always use the latest version

My first reaction in this situation is that the function of a certain extension is relatively small. Since I don't know what extensions you have installed, could you check it yourself by checking the installed extensions and disabling them? Focus on these categories.
