linux - SRPM提供的源码能否安装到别的distributions?

鸟哥说SRPM提供的源码可以提供自定义性来编译安装软件,但他的意思好像是只用于当前distribution,我想既然是源码,那么能否把SRPM下载下来的软件放到例如debian这样的系统上自行编译安装呢?

As long as you know how to solve dependency issues, the distribution doesn’t matter
