Well, if you still don’t like eos, I suggest you use ubuntu to set up a mac theme, and then the interface will basically be similar to mac. Zeng Jin has been using eos for almost a year, and I have to say that I have encountered many pitfalls. After all, It was a beta version at the time, but it seems that a new version has been released recently, and you can give it a try.
For personal development, the best one is Arch, bar none
It’s easy to install and there’s no clutter or things you don’t need
Of course, the most powerful thing about Arch is AUR
Install Arch, and then install all the desktops. Use one desktop every day, and uninstall the desktops that are not pleasing to your eyes. Finally, a useful distribution version of the Linux desktop system is formed, haha

After trying various distributions, I chose linux Mint (based on ubuntu), you can try it:)
I still recommend you to use windows + VMware virtual machine. Anyway, I feel very comfortable using it
Personally, I prefer xUbuntu (http://xubuntu.org/) because I am used to Xfce
After buying mbp, the Linux desktop still feels not good enough
Ubuntu or xubuntu for desktop. If you need to develop server-side code, get an ubuntu server or centos.
ubuntu is very good, but I think Mint is better to use

Actually, it doesn’t matter what system you use, as long as you install a desktop, I recommend the xfce desktop, it’s very beautiful
