I have been using it without any problem, but when using virtualbox, there is a kernel problem that cannot be solved. What I did was to build an ubuntu on centos, install virtualbox and use genymotion. Because genymotion supports ubuntu. But it has never been successful. Sorry

Are you planning to run the centos image in docker? If so, it is definitely possible
If you are talking about pulling and running CentOS Image under Ubuntu, the actual test is no problem.
