node - CentOS 用yum安装gcc-c++为啥最新版本是4.4？

在VPS搭建node环境，下了个node（4.4版本），需要4.8+ 的gcc，但是yum c++之后只能是4.4版本，而且还是最新的 ....

如果手动安装新的gcc 有什么要注意的地方么...
