centos - fdisk无法创建新分区

输入 fdisk /dev/ 无法创建新分区，报错提示:

last _lab(): I don't know how to handle file with mode 40755
You will not able to write the partition table.

Unable to read /dev/

怎么解决?
用的是vm虚拟机，安装的是CentOS 6.7版本

Use fdisk -l to check which disks are there

Then fdisk /dev/disk name, partition on the specified disk
