macos - eclipse's git cannot commit - Stack Overflow

Question

Environment explanation: Mac OSX, Eclispse Mars, and Git plug-ins are included with Eclipse.

• eclipse cannot submit, and the submitting user is not displayed. The commit button is grayed out and cannot be clicked

• There is also a submission dialog that is a view instead of a pop-up box

Solved, just uncheck "Using Staging View to commit instead of Commit Dialog" under Git>Committing, as shown in the picture:
