How to import PAC file's configuration into system settings - Stack Overflow

I’ve been reading some VPN-related content recently. I don't quite understand some parts, I hope someone can help me explain it.

My general idea is this: first, the app starts, connects to a specific server, and downloads a PAC file. The file contains a list of available servers, related parameter configurations, etc. Then, import the available server configuration into the system settings. Turn on the VPN service.

My question is, after downloading the PAC file, how can I import the relevant configuration information into the system settings? There seems to be relatively little information in this area.
