The goal of DVWA is to practice some of the most common web vulnerabilities through a simple and straightforward interface, with varying degrees of difficulty. Please note that there are documented and undocumented vulnerabilities in this software. This is intentional. You are encouraged to try to find as many problems as possible. Damn Vulnerable Web Application is very vulnerable! Do not upload it to your hosting provider's public HTML folder or any Internet-facing server as they will be compromised. It is recommended to use a virtual machine (such as VirtualBox or VMware) and set it to NAT network mode.
