Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land features a unique weapon: the Gunstaff. Protagonist Yumia uses this versatile tool, along with various ammo types, to navigate the world of Aladiss. Shooting specific devices is key to solving puzzles and progressing, but different ammo types are needed for different obstacles.
Yumia can craft ammo on the fly using Simple Synthesis, consuming materials and Energy Core energy. The quantity produced depends on the ammo type and skill tree upgrades. All ammo (except Scan Ammo) stuns monsters, leaving them vulnerable to Friend Actions.
Don't hoard ammo; it's easily replenished. Stunning a monster and retreating can save time. Certain story segments introduce special, quest-specific ammo crafted via regular Synthesis at the Atelier.
There are four ammo types:
1. Regular Ammo: Automatically unlocked, this is the most cost-effective and stackable ammo (up to 30). Ideal for buttons, small shrines, and stunning enemies.
