The annual Wykoff Fall Festival will be held this weekend, September 27-29, and no passport is required.
This year’s festival will feature an old-time polka dance on Friday night from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Wykoff Community Center. Singin-n-Swingin will perform a variety of tunes from the 1920s to the 1970s, including swing, big band, western, rock and roll, polka, and waltz.
Additionally, kids can look forward to an entire field dedicated to laser tag.
In celebration of Wykoff’s German heritage, the United Methodist Church will serve a traditional German meal starting at 11 a.m. at the community center.
Children will have plenty of activities to choose from, including bounce houses, pedal tractor pull, carnival games, face painting, Balloons by David, sand pile coin hunt, candy bar bingo, Nan train rides, cake walk, and laser tag.
On Saturday at 4:30 p.m., the area 4-Hers will host a murder mystery play, Murder at a Norwegian-German Wedding, and dinner at Wykoff Commons.
Start your Sunday off with a hot breakfast served by the historical society from 8 a.m. to noon or until all gone. Wrap up the weekend with Wykoff Fire Department Chili Feed from 3-7 p.m.
